A sustainability leader at the intersection of climate, agriculture, and technology. Most recently, she held leadership roles in sustainability and climate at Driscoll’s, the global fresh berry company. While at Driscoll’s Tannis developed the company's global climate change and agriculture technology strategies while also working on the ground with farmers and regulators to implement critical environmental priorities. Earlier in her career, Tannis worked in impact investing with a focus on sustainable farmland, forestry and ag-tech investments and has consulted for a variety of agricultural companies and NGOs. Tannis holds a PhD in Environment and Resources from Stanford University where she focused on companies’ roles in improving the sustainability of their agricultural supply chains, and a Bachelors in Environmental Science and Public Policy from Harvard University. In her free time Tannis enjoys cross-country skiing, backpacking and surfing with her husband, son and Australian Shepard.
