Note: the registration deadline for Cascade POWER SHIFT 2008 (Feb 6th) has passed. Late registration is still accepted, but we cannot help you arrange a ride and cannot guarantee housing in Eugene. If you can arrange your own ride and housing, you are more than welcome to register.

Registration and Payment for Cascade POWER SHIFT is a two step process:

Step 1: Fill out an online registration form:

To register for Cascade POWER SHIFT, click here to fill out our quick and easy online registration form. Don't forget to sign up for Citizen Action Day on February 11th!

Step 2: Pre-pay for the Summit (optional but recommended):

Cost: registration will cost $10.00 per person and includes access to all summit programming and events, Citizen Action Day on the 11th and complementary breakfasts on Saturday, Sunday and Monday mornings. Other meals will be on your own at one of many campus-area eating options (don't worry, that doesn't mean dorm food! There lost of cheap, tasty food to be found near the University of Oregon campus...).

Payment: You can pre-pay for Cascade POWER SHIFT online right now! Payment will also be accepted when you check-in at the summit, so this is optional, but highly recommended. Pre-payment helps us track how many people are coming, speeds up your check-in process at the summit (which makes both you and us very happy!) and earns you our eternal goodwill. We may also throw in some free "swag" for you when you arrive at the summit as a reward...

To pre-pay, click here to go to our online payment form hosted by the good folks at the Associated Students of the University of Oregon.

Three Important Pre-Payment Directions (follow these steps to make sure you get credited with your pre-payment when you check-in at the summit):

1) Make sure that you only pay for yourself and enter the same name as your registered under. This will ensure that we can track your payment and you'll be credited as paid when you arrive. Registration is $10/person and you should enter $10.00 in the "Payment Amount" field.
2) Make sure that the "Purpose of Payment" field reads "Cascade Power Shift." If it doesn't, your money is going to somebody else, and we'll have not way of crediting you for your payment!
3) Print your receipt/payment confirmation when you're done. Bring this receipt to the summit and you'll speed up the check-in process tremendously. That'll make us all happy!

Late payment at the summit will also be accepted. We will be using the same online system for payment at the summit when you check-in, so it's to your advantage to pre-pay and speed up the check-in process when you arrive.

A note from the hosts: Cascade POWER SHIFT is geared towards a late high-school and college-age audience. However, students of youth of many ages are welcome. Due to liability reason, however, the summit hosts cannot arrange housing for minors under the age of 18. We apologize and hope that younger students and youth can join us for the summit.
